Enjoy this world of "mbira" and all the entertainment, history and good conversation with mbira players, instrument makers, storytellers and spoken word artists from the African Diaspora. Most think of drum and dance when traditional African music comes to mind. We hope to show you another aspect of these rich cultures. We welcome you to share your experiences and knowledge with us.

I have some exciting new material that is going to take you to a new level of experiential enjoyment. On this next CD, "All Thumbs," I introduce my new revolutionary mbira. I call it the "chrombira." It is a chromatic, electric mbira. Along with the original tracks I've composed to demonstrate the range and versatility of this instrument, I include some contemporary and classic jazz selections intermixed with traditional mbira selections. Of course everything has a taste of funk that is just in my blood.
